The Allgäu by the tuning company Alpina upgraded to 373 kW/507 hp 4.4-liter V8 gasoline engine with twin turbochargers to consolation performance demanding customers that there will be no by-Haustunter M GmbH version of the refined luxury car. Already a 2006 BMW Alpina has a short version of its flagship in the U.S. market offered.
